His Beginning
Jamie Campbell, born and raised in Great Falls, South Carolina, grew up in a large family as one of ten children. Raised in a Christian household with his father serving as a bishop, Jamie developed a passion for football at a young age. This love for the game continued through high school and into college, where he played until a career-ending injury in his senior year (2008). Despite the setback, Jamie completed his bachelor's degree and went on to earn a master's degree in Public Administration. Jamie is also an evangelist, committed to his faith and serving God's mission. In 2010, he began training and mentoring high school and college football players, unknowingly becoming their consultant.
Learning the Business
As a former college player, Jamie understood the challenges of transitioning from high school to college sports. During this time, he had the opportunity to intern with the late Mr. Angelo Wright, a renowned sports agent and founder of SportsWest Football. This experience deepened Jamie's knowledge of the transition from college to the NFL, shaping his approach to consulting.
What Fueled His Passion
Throughout his internship, Jamie overheard conversations from industry professionals—coaches, agents, and endorsement companies—disrespecting players and their families, labeling them as unintelligent and easy to manipulate. This deeply troubled Jamie and sparked his desire to protect and guide athletes through the complex business of sports. As an evangelist on assignment for God, Jamie teaches his athletes Proverbs 18:16: "A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men." (Where the Gift Comes From...). He emphasizes that, in life, as God positions us, athletes must always depend on God, not on humans. Jamie encourages his athletes to trust God's plan and remain in position for what He has in store.
